Brainiac spends the rest of the game trapped, until he manages to escape due to the Lanterns restoring the Earth to its original size and his cage with it. The reunited heroes fight him in Gotham, and Flash traps him and his spaceship in a cage made out of the Wayne Tower. While upset about the failure of his plan, Brainiac decides that taking Earth's major cities is still better than nothing, and manages to minituarise Paris, London and Pisa, but Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman stop him from stealing either of the three. The heroes and villains manage to raid his ship while Superman destroys the shrink ray, leaving the Earth too big for Brainiac to contain. The villain introduces himself to the Justice League and the Legion of Doom, announcing his plans to shrink the Earth and add it to his collection, sending the Green Lantern to attack them before using his and other Lanterns' Power Rings to power his shrink ray and start shrinking the Earth.
